Fill up steam pot with water up to the mark or line. Place metal insert or rack. Bring to boil. Place tamale on rack. Cover with lid. Turn heat down to medium. Steam for 15 minutes,
Turn tamale over. Steam for additional 5 to 10 minutes or until hot

Discard freezer paper. Leave wax paper and banana leaf on.
Defrost completely
Once thawed. Reheat tamale on high for 2 min or until hot. Additional tips, Place a cup of water when reheating or wrap tamale with moist paper towel.
